The Parable of the Wedding Garment

Mark Twain expanded on the famous idiom Clothes Make the Man, by saying: Naked people have little or no influence on society! Funny. The truth is that today’s parable is for naked or raggedly-clothed people, as well as for kings and fashion models. It is for those who think they are OK, and for those convinced they’ll never be OK. Themes from this parable echo throughout Scripture. The beauty of the character of God shines through this story. And the message is life-saving, if we would but pause for a moment to listen to it.​
